Habit can be developed through repetition and reinforcement and can be part of any activity, such as eating, sleeping, exercising, thinking and even a reaction behaviour. When something become a habit, you do it without even thinking. Off course some activities need thinking and planning, but doing become a subconsciously behaviour.
So, why not have a go by choose an activity/occupation that is meaningful to you but not part of your daily routine?
I have chosen yoga or physical exercise, and cooking as way to keep me healthy and fit. I started by doing 20min of morning yoga or Zumba before work. At lunch and dinner, I put veggies together and think of a yummy recipe I can create with it. As these become a habit for me, I started to introduce others, I’m now go to the gym 2 to 3 times a week and I’m feeling great.
Remember, an activity of your choice, create a habit and feel good.
